Primed Steel
Purlins – Refers to roof framing members that span parallel to the building eave and provide a surface to which the roof panels can be attached. We offer a variety of purlins ranging from 3” and up and starting out at 20-foot lengths.
Girts – A horizontal structural member in a framed wall. Girts provide lateral support to the wall panel, primarily to resist wind loads. We offer a variety of girts ranging from 3” and up starting out at 20-foot lengths.
Square tubing – Used as structural support components for metal buildings. We offer primed square tubing in both 11g and 14g in a variety of sizes ranging from 1” and up starting out at 20-foot lengths.
Eave strut – A structural component located at the intersection of the roof and the exterior wall, so that it acts as both the first purlin and the last (highest) girt. The shape of eave struts is a channel-like section, which allows the roofing to be attached to the top flange and siding attached to the bottom flange.
Base angle – A structural angle component secured to the perimeter of the foundation to support and close wall panels.
