You probably don’t often hear about barndominiums but it’s gaining popularity in various areas in the country. Often called “barndos,” they are known for their practicality and they are placed in the loft area above a working barn. They were built by farmers and ranchers so animal caretakers can stay nearby. Today, you can see them in luxury homes and vacation rentals, especially in rural areas with ranch land and vineyards.
