1.5 inch B-Deck (also called Type B deck) is a structural steel panel with a 1-1/2 inch rib height at 6 inch centers and 36 inch coverage, with a 3-3/8 inch top flange, a 2-5/8 inch bottom flange, and a nesting side lap. It is designed to span between structural framing members and serve as the base for built-up roofing systems or composite concrete floor slabs. B-Deck is engineered for structural load capacity, not just weather resistance.
