2" Mechanical Lock Standing Seam
The 2" Mechanical Lock is a high-performance standing seam system where seams are field-crimped after panel installation, creating a watertight lock that cannot be unlocked without a seam tool.
Mechanical lock standing seam panels are considered the highest performance category of metal roofing. After the panels are set and clipped, a mechanical seaming tool is run along each seam to crimp and lock the two panel edges together. The resulting seam cannot be separated without a special tool, providing superior resistance to wind uplift and water infiltration compared to snap-lock systems.
