Farm Equipment Storage Barn - Denison, TX

Project Overview

A Denison area farm family needed a dedicated equipment storage barn to house large tractors and a hay hauler during the off-season. The existing shed was too small and had corroded panel sections that leaked during heavy rain. Metal Warehouse Inc. supplied a new 50x80 weld-up agricultural building with a Galvalume roof, Galvalume side panels on three sides, and a fully open south face to allow easy drive-through access.

The Challenge

The farm operated year-round and could not afford a long construction gap. The family also had an existing concrete pad they wanted to reuse, which constrained the column spacing for the new structure.

Our Solution

We engineered the column layout to match the existing pad dimensions, eliminating the need for new concrete work. The customer's contractor was able to set columns and erect the frame in a single day using our pre-cut, pre-drilled weld-up package.

Outcome

The building was in use by the following harvest season. The Galvalume roof and wall panels were selected specifically for their corrosion resistance in the humid North Texas climate.
